Free Summer Meal Programs

With the end of the school year and kids home for the summer, families may face an increase in their grocery bills, adding on additional costs. United Way’s 2-1-1 wants to help by reminding families of summer meal programs that will be available to children in Marathon County.

For children age 18 and under, regardless of school district:

  • Boys & Girls Club of the Wausau Area:

Monday – Friday, June 8 – August 22, 2018

No meals will be served on July 4

  • Boys & Girls Club, 1710 N 2nd, Wausau

Breakfast begins at 7:30am and lunch at 12pm

  • D.C. Everest Area School District: Monday – Friday
    • Weston Elementary School, 5200 Camp Phillips Rd., Weston
      • June 18 – July 20, 2018

Breakfast begins at 7:45am and lunch at 10:50am

  • July 23 – August 3, 2018

Breakfast begins at 8:30am and lunch at 12:30

  • D.C. Everest Senior High School, 6500 Alderson St., Schofield
    • June 11 – August 30th

Breakfast begins at 7:30am and lunch at 10:30am

No meals served week of July 2 – July 6
