Salvation Army Bell Ringing:
It’s that time of year again! We are looking for bell ringers to help us raise the funds to help families in our community over the next year. Did you know that more then 86% of all the funds raised during the Red Kettle Campaign go right back into our community over the next year. This year we are looking at $205,000.

Signing up is easy and 2 hours of your time could change the lives of families right here in our area. To sign up here and choose your site and times you want to ring. Or call 715-845-4272 by mid November.

Christmas Festival Mosinee & Craft Sale and Breakfast with Santa:
Dec. 2, 2017
Volunteers are needed Friday Dec. 1 from 6-9pm for set up and then Saturday Dec. 2 with shifts beginning at 7:30am at Mosinee High School

Angels Among Us Community Event:
Dec. 10, 2017
Help with Reading, Crafts and More!
The Foundation of Ascension St. Clare’s Hospital provides a celebration for families in preparation of the holidays Dec. 10 at Rothschild Pavilion. Volunteers are needed from 2:30-6pm for story book reading, craft tables and more! Sign up prior to Nov. 28 by calling 715-393-2514.

Fun-Makers Wanted:
Forest Park Village is seeking Fun-Makers to lead activities of all kinds at our independent living, assisted living, and memory care facilities. Do you like cards? Board games? Seasonal crafts? Any kind of craft? Coloring? Balloon Volleyball? Bingo? So do we! Opportunities are available daily to create fun and memories with residents at our senior living facilities. You can bring your fun daily, weekly, or monthly to enhance the living experience of residents at Forest Park Village.

Be an “Angel” at The Angel Tree:
The Salvation Army is looking for “Angels” for our Angel tree. This is located in the Center Mall right by Santa. You will keep the tree filled with tags and help collect the gifts as they are brought back in. Instructions will be at the table with all supplies needs. You help remind people that there are families in need aroud the Christmas season. Must be 16 or have an adult with you to work the tree. Sign up here to choose the day and time you would like to help out.

Music Volunteers:
Music has been shown to reduce anxiety and stress, promote relaxation and stimulate recollection of memories. We are seeking volunteers to share their musical talents with hospice patients, whether singing or playing instruments. Some examples include the following:
Guitar
Piano / Keyboard
Harp
Accordion
Violin
Some music volunteers even use technology (iPads, iPods, smart phones, tablets, etc.) to bring music to hospice patients! Hospice volunteer training is provided. For more information, call Susan at 715.204.3443 or email susan.barrett@ahah.net.
